Meet Our Therapists
At Behold Counseling, our team is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Attachment Theory, with additional expertise in somatic awareness, EMDR, and trauma-informed care. We help you move beyond surface-level coping, understand your emotional patterns, and nurture healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. While each therapist brings their own style, you can count on a steady, compassionate space grounded in care and love—where real, lasting change is possible.
Our Services

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Individual therapy for people who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, emotional intensity, or a nervous system that rarely seems to fully settle.
Many clients come to therapy feeling caught in cycles of overthinking, panic, emotional reactivity, or shutdown. Together we explore the patterns beneath these experiences while helping the nervous system develop greater stability and regulation.
Common experiences we work with:
• Panic attacks or persistent anxiety
• Overthinking and mental rumination
• Emotional overwhelm or shutdown
• Difficulty understanding or managing emotions
• Relationship patterns that feel hard to change
COUPLES THERAPY
Couples therapy for partners who feel stuck in painful interaction cycles — where one partner pursues, the other withdraws, and both feel increasingly misunderstood.
Using attachment-based therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy, we help couples slow down these cycles and understand the deeper emotions driving them.
Couples often seek therapy when they notice:
• Arguments that escalate quickly or repeat
• One partner pursuing while the other withdraws
• Feeling reactive or easily triggered in conflict
• Emotional distance or disconnection growing
• Wanting closeness but struggling to repair after conflict
ATTACHMENT & NERVOUS SYSTEM WORK
Much of our work focuses on understanding the emotional and relational patterns that shape how people respond to stress, conflict, and connection.
Attachment and nervous system work explores how earlier relational experiences influence the way we interpret emotions, regulate ourselves, and respond to others. These patterns often operate automatically, which can make our reactions feel confusing or difficult to change.
By slowing down and bringing awareness to these patterns, therapy helps people develop greater emotional steadiness and more secure ways of relating to themselves and the people around them.
