Therapy for Young Adults Navigating Anxiety, Relationships, and Life Transitions

Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’ve been carrying anxiety, self-doubt, or relationship struggles on your own. You don’t have to navigate those challenges alone.

I see therapy as a sacred space—a place where you can feel seen, heard, and fully known while making sense of the experiences that have shaped who you are today.

Together, we’ll make room for all the parts of you—the beauty and the messy, the wounds you try to hide, and the strengths and vulnerabilities that have carried you this far. Each part has a voice, and each part deserves to be heard.

Who I Work Best With

I feel most at home working with young adults in their 20s, a season of life often filled with excitement, growth, and big changes. You might be navigating independence, stepping into a new career, adjusting to life as a newlywed, or simply trying to understand yourself more deeply and figure out what direction you want your life to take.

These transitions can feel exciting, but they can also bring uncertainty, anxiety, and pressure. Having a supportive space to process them can make a meaningful difference.

I also have a heart for supporting first-generation clients who may be navigating complex family and cultural dynamics. This can include experiences such as:

  • Carrying the weight of family expectations

  • Navigating generational trauma

  • Feeling caught between two cultures

  • Trying to find your own voice while honoring your family

Therapy can be a place to explore these experiences, make sense of your story, and grow in confidence and self-understanding.

You Might Be Feeling

Many of the clients I work with come to therapy feeling:

  • Constantly anxious or overthinking their relationships

  • Unsure of themselves, even when they appear confident on the outside

  • Drained from always trying to please others

  • Afraid of being “too much” or “not enough” for the people they care about

  • Stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand

  • Overwhelmed by expectations from family, culture, or life transitions

If any of this resonates with you, therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of these patterns, and begin relating to yourself and others in new ways.

What I Help With

Many of the clients I work with are navigating challenges such as:

  • Anxiety and chronic worry

  • Low self-esteem and self-doubt

  • People-pleasing and difficulty setting boundaries

  • Relationship and attachment struggles

  • Life transitions in young adulthood

  • Premarital or newlywed relationship adjustments

  • Navigating cultural identity and first-generation experiences

  • Family expectations and generational dynamics

  • Emotional overwhelm and stress

  • Faith integration for Christian clients seeking spiritually-informed therapy

I especially enjoy supporting young adults who want to better understand themselves, develop healthier relationships, and build confidence as they navigate this important season of life.

My Approach

I approach therapy through a holistic lens that honors mind, body, and spirit. Together we slow down and create space to notice what is happening within you—your thoughts, emotions, and the ways your body responds to stress and connection.

My style is warm, reflective, and supportive. I aim to create a space where you feel safe enough to explore your inner world while also receiving guidance and clarity when it’s helpful.

My work is also informed by attachment-based approaches, which help us understand how past experiences and relationships shape the way we connect with ourselves and others today.

Therapy is ultimately a collaborative process where we explore what matters most to you, process challenges, and begin creating meaningful and lasting change.

Faith & Spirituality

For clients who share the Christian faith, I am glad to integrate it into our work together. I believe faith can be a meaningful source of healing, guidance, and restoration, and I welcome exploring how your spirituality can support your journey toward growth and wholeness.

Considering Therapy

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to figure things out on your own. My hope is to offer a space where you feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for as you navigate life’s challenges.

If this resonates with you, I’d be glad to connect and see if working together feels like a good fit.
